(b) Nationally, intangible cultural heritage protection is beneficial for: preserving China’s traditional culture and the diversity of ethical culture; driving China’s reunification and unity of Chinese nation; enhancing cultural consciousness, cultural innovation and development; improving China’s cultural harmony and the growth and prosperity of public cultural undertakings and cultural industries; eliminating development gap and achieving balanced development in economy, culture and society across regions; and promoting cultural enlightenment and patriotism education for the youth.
