Q27.What are the principles of intangible cultural heritage protection?
Answer: The following principles shall be adhered to when conducting intangible cultural heritage protection: (a) Authenticity: the authentic, original relics as well as the entire historical cultural message conveyed shall be preserved.
(b) Integrity: all content and forms of the cultural heritage, including its inheritor and ecological environment shall be protected as an integral system.
(c) Interpretability: we should be able to identify and interpret the historical process, evolvement rules and spiritual connotation of the cultural heritage.
(d) Sustainability: we should adequately recognize the chronicity and continuity as required by the intangible cultural heritage protection work.
